FAQ
What lock duration can we choose?
You can choose from 1-52 weeks.
Which one do you prefer? What variables affect the yield on the NKS pool (Flexible and Fixed Term Staking Options)?
Since flex stakes and fixed term stakes are part of the same group, the following variables affect the % return (APR/APY) of both:
Total NKS is wagered in flexible stakes and fixed-term stakes (sum of both). The more NKS stakes, the lower the APR/APY.
Total number of NKS locked on timed stakes. More NKS locked up means more profits, resulting in less NKS rewards for others (especially flexible staking).
The average lock-in duration of all NKS locked in fixed-term stakes. If the average lock duration increases, then the APR/APY will decrease.
Can I harvest rewards during lockdown?
Are not. You can only harvest rewards when the lock time is up. This is based on the productivity/profitability we are offering as well as the technical implementations.
Can I extend the lock time?
Correct. Extending the lock duration will add more time to your original lock duration. When choosing to extend the lock time, keep in mind: New extended lock duration = initial lock duration + additional duration.
Can I remove my NKS from Fixed Term stakes via contract if I change my mind?
Are not. Your NKS cannot be removed or withdrawn from fixed-term stakes at any time until your lock-in period ends and your NKS is unlocked.
How much is "NKS Locked"?
The "NKS Locked" amount is the user's initial locked NKS balance plus the NKS rewards to date. Locked NKS = Initial Locked NKS Balance + NKS Rewards When adding more NKS for fixed-term staking, the "locked NKS" amount is the user's initial locked NKS balance, the NKS rewards so far, and the added NKS.
Fixed Term Staking Group APR Can the APR change after I lock my NKS?
Yes, the staking NKS pool has a variable fixed-term APR, just like the old NKS pools. The APR of the NKS pool of stakes has a fixed duration that is not fixed and depends on:
Total number of NKS stakes in the NKS pool (sum of both Flexible + Fixed Term Stakes). The average lock-in duration of all NKS locked in fixed-term stakes.
The profit gain (similar to the multiplier) is calculated from the user's initial lock time. The longer you lock your NKS, the higher the productivity gains.
For example, if you lock your NKS for 52 weeks, your productivity gain will be greater than if you locked your NKS for 26 weeks. The yield gain increases linearly the longer you lock up your NKS.
Can I still participate in IFO if my NKS is locked in the Fixed Term Stake pool or will I need to purchase more NKS?
No, a separate amount of NKS is required. However, the locked stake provides entry for the IFO public sale. Check out iNKS.
Can I vote if my NKS is locked in the Term Stake pool?
Correct!
Can I use both the flexible staking NKS pool and the fixed term staking NKS pool?
Yes, when you are betting NKS with fixed duration. A flexible NKS side bet group will automatically appear for you to choose from.
Is there a fee to convert NKS FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION to TIMELY INSTALL NKS?
Are not. There are no additional fees to switch NKS from flexible staking to term staking, only gas fees.
